PMS shortlisted for two national awards

Colchester-based PMS Managing Estates has been shortlisted for two prestigious national awards.

The company, which manages a portfolio of 8,000 homes across East Anglia, London and the Southeast, is a finalist in two categories of the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) ACE Awards.

Following a rigorous shortlisting process by a panel of independent judges, PMS is in the running for Larger Managing Agent of the Year, and Property Personality of the Year.

The Awards were introduced to celebrate excellence and exceptional achievement by the UK’s leading residential managing agents and the work of their staff in improving the lives of leaseholders across the county.

PMS Managing Director Daniel Malone said: “Being shortlisted in these prestigious awards confirms we are among the UK’s leading property management companies.

“We are ambitious to continue to expand this local business while maintaining our commitment to industry regulation to ensure the highest professional standards.  I’m delighted for all our staff that their dedication and professionalism is being recognised.”

Dr Nigel Glen, ARMA CEO, said: “The quality of entries has been outstanding, setting the standard for companies that wish to be recognised for achieving excellence, best practice in their field, and ultimately leading to the improvement in the lives of leaseholders.”

The Awards are open to ARMA members, partners, associates and external suppliers to ARMA members. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner and ceremony on Friday 6 July in the stunning surroundings of Tobacco Dock in London.

In 2017 PMS’ long-serving Senior Property Services Manager Sue Harness was highly commended in the Unsung Hero Award at the inaugural ARMA ACE awards, and one of our property managers was shortlisted for Property Woman of the Year.
