PMS shortlisted for three prestigious awards

Colchester-based PMS Managing Estates has been shortlisted for three prestigious national awards.

The company, which manages a portfolio of more than 6,000 homes across East Anglia, London and the Southeast, is a finalist in the Regional Property Management Company of the Year award.

The Property Management Awards are organised by industry publication News on the Block.  Senior Property Services Manager Sue Harness is one of five finalists in the Customer Service Award.

Sue was shortlisted earlier this year in the inaugural Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) ACE Awards, highly commended for the Unsung Hero award.

PMS marked its 30th anniversary this year and Managing Director Daniel Malone said:

“Being a finalist in three categories confirms we are one of the UK’s leading property management companies.

“We are ambitious to see the continued expansion of this local business, and committed to a strong team ethos. I’m delighted for all our staff that their hard work and professionalism should be recognised in these prestigious awards.”

Winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at Supernova in London on 30 November.

Sue Harness, who has worked for PMS for 15 years, provides the company’s emergency cover overnight and at weekends, helping leaseholders and tenants with any problems which arise.

Sue said:

“I’m really honoured to be shortlisted, as I thoroughly enjoy dealing with our customers and helping them with any issues.

It’s a team effort and I couldn’t do it without the support of the Property Managers and our contractors.”

PMS is a strong advocate of regulation in the property management industry, and is regulated by key professional body the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA).
