Your service charge forms a fundamental part of the running costs of your property.
Whether you are a Leaseholder in a block, or a Freeholder who owns a house that forms part of an estate or development, you will be responsible for paying a service charge.
Service charges are calculated very differently for Leasehold and Freehold properties. Whilst not being a definitive guide, as each development has its own specifics, the following will almost certainly apply to you as a property owner:
