Q1. My last managing agent was hard to get hold of and a different person turned up at every meeting.
A. We hear this all the time!  Why not have a designated manager assigned to your development? At PMS, each manager has their own phone line and email address to constantly maintain that all important personal contact.

Q2. What happens if my site manager is away?
A. One word: 'Teamwork'.  During holidays or illness other team members are with you.

Q3. I'm not happy about something with my development.
A. That's why you are reading this, isn't it? Tell us; we'll see what can be done.

Q4. Why do I pay a service charge?
A. Because when you purchased your property, your legal documents said you will contribute towards:
Insurance
Cleaning and gardening
Electricity
Accountancy fees
Bank charges
General maintenance
Administration
We have a downloadable document available called 'Your service charge explained' in our service charge help section for more information.

Q5. I own a freehold property, why am I expected to pay a Service Charge?
A. You will almost certainly have purchased your freehold property as part of a development or estate.  For this reason you will have an obligation to pay towards the upkeep of common areas and accessways; your Freehold Transfer Document will detail the specifics.  Your service charge also contributes to the administration costs of your development including accountancy fees and public liability insurance.  If you are still unsure, please call us and we'll explain in more detail.

Q6. How much do PMS charge for their management services?
A. Less than our competitors.  Your PMS management package will be bespoke, so call our dedicated New Business Team and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements.  Our new business team can be contacted on 01206 835 360.

Q7. How can we appoint PMS as our managing agent?
A.    If you haven't chosen PMS already, call us on 01206 835 360.  No obligation. No jargon. No stress.
